Trevor Spear has been active in the construction industry for the last 32 years. He learned the industry by working after school and summers with his father, who was a homebuilder in New Bern. While receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he established a marine construction company which built decks, bulkheads and docks. After college, he became part-owner of a high-end custom home building and renovation company in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was responsible for building numerous luxury homes in Wilmington’s prestigious Landfall community in 1991. After being recruited by a large home building company as Project Manager responsible for their largest subdivision, Trevor relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. He continued on as the Purchasing Manager, in charge of establishing national vendor accounts, estimating and all new plan design. In addition to his expertise in remodeling, new home building, and plan design, Trevor has also designed and managed over $30 million of e-space architecture and development.
Today, Trevor owns PHWS of North Carolina. PHWS manages warranty service and customer care for the construction industry. This is a logical evolution with his past history in construction and home building.
Trevor lives in Raleigh near Cameron Village with his wife Trish, twin boys, a lovely girl and too many pets. He enjoys hunting, fly fishing, water sports and golf.
