Indicators all are pointing to a recovery in the housing market

Indicators all are pointing to a recovery in the housing market, but buyers shouldn’t have to worry about massive bidding wars breaking out anytime soon. The combination of relatively low mortgage rates, still sticky real estate prices, and a hidden inventory of homes not yet on the market could make the rest of this year an opportune time to buy a home. On Tuesday, the National Association of Realtors reported higher than expected sales in March, but simultaneously revised their sales predictions down for the rest of the year. The group now expects that bigger boost in home sales to wait until 2011.
