Texas and North Carolina Dominate List of Top Housing Markets

Four Texas cities, including Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio and Charlotte and Raleigh in North Carolina are among the twenty cities with the most housing permits in last twelve months. Both Los Angeles and Miami had large gains in August permits but remain out of the top twenty list because of depressed permit activity over the past year.
