Call “Action” on Marketing Videos

You may have noticed there’s an awful lot of writing on the Internet. All joking aside, using videos instead of text on your website, blog or marketing emails can help set your business apart from the competition.

The presentation service SlideShare just released its 2015 video marketing statistics report. The findings highlight how a short video can boost your small-business marketing:

* 65% of executives visit a potential vendor’s website after watching a video—and 39% call the business.
* 64% of consumers are more likely to buy a product or service after seeing a video about it.

Talk about lots of return on little investment! The tools you need are probably already in your pocket. Shooting and editing a video on your smartphone or tablet is relatively easy. A one-minute clip of your operation, your smiling employees or a few words from you is all it takes.

Closing your video with a call to action—something as simple as “Come visit us or call today,” along with your address and phone number—will put your business in front of your customers.
